Engineering solutions for correcting mold, moisture and construction defects before repair work begins
Repair work often begins with visible damage while the construction problem responsible for it remains unresolved. This can lead to repeated damp, mold, damaged finishes and additional costs after the renovation has been completed
• The building problems and hidden causes that must be corrected• The required engineering solutions and their priorities• Recommended materials and construction technologies• Construction details required for implementation• The correct sequence of repair work• The critical stages that should be assessed during renovation
The plan is prepared after the property has been diagnosed and is based on its actual condition. It is not a standard repair package or a contractor’s quotation. It provides the engineering basis needed to define the full scope of work, address both visible damage and hidden underlying causes, compare contractor proposals and ensure that the renovation solves the actual problem
If renovation is already in progress, the assessment can determine whether critical work is being completed in the correct sequence. If repairs have already been completed but the original problem remains, the plan identifies what still needs to be corrected
